It is always gives a warm feeling when hosts not just make their guests comfortable in terms of the room amenities, but also go out of their way to ensure the food is as per the guests' expectations. 

At Gulmohar Homestay, Nashik, as mentioned in the main overall review, we were happy to have food cooked as per our wish. So if you require customized food, please inform Kamala Parekh in advance via email. When we did so, we were promptly sent the outline of the menu drawn up for the day of our arrival, to confirm if that was Ok with us. That was some prompt service!

That service translated to some really well-cooked food, not just on the first day or only for the first meal, but on both the days, for both lunch and dinner, as also breakfast on the second day and on the morning of the third day when we left.

The Dining room was a delightful, spacious area with interesting objects around, like in the rest of the home. Putting just one photo here -

As for breakfast, we had this in the outdoor dining area, a superbly designed, architecturally delightful space with a lot of air and light. 




Anywhere you are seated, you will get a lovely view of the beauty of nature outside.

The kitchen where breakfast is cooked is off the seating area itself, and is spick and span. The food is laid out neatly on the counter at the windows and you can have piping hot food straight away!

In a corner of the breakfast area are shelves with books and magazines and games for kids. So at any time you can lounge around, play a board game or read a book. 

All in all, as casual and unhurried a dining experience as one would enjoy in one's own home. After a hearty breakfast, take a walk around to enjoy nature at its best at Gulmohar Homestay, Nashik and enjoy a unique treasure hunt as well.
