My cousin & her husband chose
to stay in their resort rather than the hospital rooms of the Dhathri Ayurkendra & Panchakarma Centre.
The Location
The
resort is about twenty minutes away from the hospital. It is a large resort, approx. two to three acres inside their very own
orchard of coconut and bilimbi trees (bilimbi is a large green cucumber). The rooms of the cottage directly face the beautiful Kayamkulam
lake, so one is surrounded by nature all around. It is quiet and peaceful and feels good to be in the midst of all that greenery and shade. The views too are just stunning! See them here: Nature at its finest.

The Accommodation
There are four very spacious one bed room cottages with floor to ceiling windows. There is a TV in the room airing local language channels.

The Treatment
You can opt for a customized package, as my cousin did, based on the diagnosis they do on your first day. The doctor will modify the treatment during the course of your stay as per the requirement. The cost for them for the 10 day stay for both of them was Rs. 88000/-, inclusive of stay, food and the Ayurved treatment they took.
Rejuvenation package
This includes synchronised body massages, performed with medicinal oil and cream, with Sirodhara, medicated steam baths and oral medicine
The treatment is administered daily for 90-120 minutes over a period of 3 to 21 days.
Body purification package
This includes oil application, Sudation (sweating process) and Panchakarma (purification processes in the narrow sense) with body massages Nasyam, Virechanam, Snehavasthi, Dhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Karnapooranam, Tharpanam, Sirovasthi, steam baths and oral herbal medicines.
The treatment is administered over a period of 14 to 21 days.
Body immunization package
This includes body massages Snehapanam, Virechanam, Nasyam, Snehavasthi, Dhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Tharpanam, Sirovasthi, Karnapooranam and medicated steam baths
The treatment is for 28 days.
Slimming package
This includes herbal powder massage and treatment with various medicinal herbal oils
A special Ayurvedic diet plan is recommended during the treatment. Massages and powder massages are given for 14 to 28 days
Stress management package
yoga, meditation, rejuvenation massages and Dhara, Njavarakizhi, Thalam, herbal steam baths etc. along with orally taken Ayurvedic medicines
The treatment takes 3-4 hours daily over a period of 7-14 days
Beauty care package
This includes herbal face packs, herbal oil massages, pedicure, manicure, herbal bath and steam bath
Special yoga packages
